About us

Connecting Tradition, Community, and Well-Being

The Richmond Hill Russian Jewish Centre (RHRJC) is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to preserving and strengthening the cultural and spiritual heritage of Russian-speaking Jewish individuals in Richmond Hill and across York Region. Through a diverse range of community programs and faith-based services, we foster meaningful connections, cultural enrichment, and personal growth.
At the heart of our mission is a deep commitment to serving those vulnerable, such as seniors and youth, alleviating loneliness and enhancing their well-being. Our senior-focused initiatives promote social engagement, mobility, and lifelong learning through recreational, educational, and cultural activities. Our youth benefit from curated workshops and networking opportunities, helping them establish themselves in Canadian society.
RHRJC is more than a community center—it is a welcoming space where traditions are celebrated, friendships are nurtured, and Jewish identity thrives. We provide access to facilities, resources, and programs that encourage active participation in a vibrant and inclusive community. Whether through cultural events, social services, or faith-based gatherings, we are here to support and uplift every member of our community.
